Don Bosco School (Salesian Sisters) Inc. - Manila, is one of the schools owned and administered by the Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco . It begun its operation in 1989 with a phase-in/phase-out program with the Don Bosco Technical College - Mandaluyong which was completed in 1992. Since then, DBS became juridically independent. It received the Government Recognition for the complete elementary course and complete secondary course in 1995 and 1999 respectively.
In 1994, the first Grade 5 classes (all girls) started the Intermediate Level. In 1996, DBS held the First Commencement Exercises with 59 graduates in the Elementary Course.
In 2000, the program for Secondary Education was completed. It continues to respond to the needs of our times for academically and technologically prepared students. Since its foundation up to the present, the educative presence among the young has proved to be fruitful with the support of its Educating Community. |
